Jamie Carragher reflected on his new Premiership appearances record for the Reds and declared: "I never want to leave Liverpool." Carragher, who will make it 242 games against Fulham on Saturday, reveals he didn't know he was on the verge of a new record but he now intends setting a total over the coming years which future players will find hard to top.

Carragher is the sort of player that can turn round to everyother defender in the Prem and say "you either got it or you don't, and boys, you ain't even close!" Brilliant player, excellent servant and he's a Red. What more do you want?
