This has been confirmed by Valencia official, Agustin Morera. "The offer made by the team coached by Rafa Benitez is formal and firm, and is very much near the 12M Euro mark."

In the next hours, there will be an urgent meeting of the Valencia CF board to speak about this matter, the continuity of Aimar depends exclusively to Ranieri who if guaranteed a similar substitute, Aimar could be leaving Valencia in a matter of hours.

____

I got that from Liverpool.tv and it says that they got it from Valencia's website. Maybe we have more money than we all though.

I've been saying that all along. It's impossible for a club like ours to have only 10 million [suggested by many here] the same amount that Everton will be able to spend in January.

Yes we have more than some suggested.

And of course you know that 30 mil is to also save them from bankrupting.

I have seen him play before and he is good. Can either play as an attacking midfielder or as a forward. Aimar will be a very useful addition.

I am sure that the 30 million is payable over stages in instalments. First, they get only 10 million.

That £30m is being paid over something like 5 years and that also depends on England appearences, etc.
