Dodgy signing for the s**t united - Conflict of intrest

Apparently United have signed Rooney on a £20m basic transfer payment with anything up to an extra £7m on how United do in all competitions including winning the Premiership. As we know Everton are pretty strapped for cash (like most clubs) and although unlikley to happen Everton could almost forfit their games to the Manc S**t to help them earn points in the league - Surely this is a conflict of intrest and open for speculation - what is everyones thoughts

Everton are definite relegation contenders this season. Any financial benefit they may gain from United's success would be eclipsed if it was to lead to them dropping out of the top flight. The potential risks involved far outweigh the gains.

Sorry but signing Fat sh!te is not gonna put Scum u at the same level at chelsea and Arsenal.....The lads scored 15 goals in two seasons and had a good international tornament, no doubt the lads class but its gonna take more than him to get them back in the top 2......this is the beginning of the end for the scum!

Matt D raises an interesting point.

What would happen if UTD drew Everton in the last game of the season needing a win to claim the Premiership.

Whats to stop a cash strapped Everton from "lying down" to get their fat bonus?

Apparently the bonus scheme lasts for 5 years so it could well happen in the future if Everton are safe from relegation.

If they did then there'd likely be an FA if not UEFA or FIFA investigation into match fixing.  thats what happened in Italy.

Certainly a point, even if I think it`s a bit unlikely that manure, in all their arrogance, feel the need to fix the game in order to collect three points at both Old Trafford and at Goodison Park.
But then again, we now that they`ve got cheaters on the pay roll, bl***y "Horseface the diver"  :angry:

I find it a bit funny what the leader of the Norwegian manure-supporter union tells Norwegian papers;

They are not very happy with all the cash spent on the Rooney-signing. They would much rather have seen this money spent on making a red devil out of Steven Gerrard  :)

Dream on, I guess you`ve got to live with Keane who`s career peaked years ago  :)
