Baros - A couple of goals to settle him down?

Who's of the opinion that Baros' biggest problem is that he is too anxious to do well?

I think that if he gets a few goals behind him early on, he should settle down a treat. A manager like Benitez should mould him quite nicely.

possibly, but who wouldn't be? he's got a fantastic opportunity now that mikey has left. however he should not try and "replace" mikey, he should merely concentrate on his natrural game and improving as a player over the course of the season. yesterday his touch let him down on a number of occassions. however we have all seen what he is capable of during the summer, and hopefully he will get off the mark on saturday against man city. :)

I believe that once Baros is given a fair chance he will deliever the goods. He`s got the skills and if rafa`s got the patience Baros will do the job :)

He wasnt the first choice last season and will need a few games to adjust to that fact and also the fact he has a new partner.  Hopefully he will want to prove that he can handle the pressure

I already have the feeling that it will be only a matter of time before Milan departs somewhere else. With hearing that Benitez is still trying to get Mista to the club its obvious that if he did Milan would be third choice striker and i dont think he would want to be kicking his heels once again on the bench? I hope this doesnt happen because i do believe he still has the makings to be a big talent.

The only red Nedved will be wearing is that of Cezch, he loves Jeventus too much to leave.

Baros needs to realise that once he actually collects the ball (he said hopefully) he doesn't then have to try and set of on a run ,beat four defenders and slide one past the keeper. Sometimes the easy option is the best. He forgets there are team mates around waitng for a pass .
As someone said, he is trying to hard to impress  :(

I think that it was his touch that I was referring too...although wasn't too clear about it. He just looks like a young guy to me who is over-anxious to prove himself. I don't think GH was the man with those qualities....Hoping Rafa is

He's not good enough to be a first or second striker at any top club.

Same as Solskjaer for them ******.

Good enough to be here, but not good enough to be first choice.

Tempted to go along with that . Sell Baros if Barca still want him and let Rafa bring in his choice of striker . :)
Better be fking quick about it , less than two weeks now and the transfer window slams shut and we could be fcked until Xmas . :(

Why aren't all the guys who said give Houllier a 7th season to prove himself allowing Baros 1 year to prove himself. give him  a season as first choice and we'll see what he is made of.

I reckon he is a goalscorer if he has good players around him.

Baros was bought by Houllier.

Not good enough. If you can't see that then thats your problem.
