Milan baros - Should we let him go?

Baros has scored 3 goals for czech rep. in their last 2 games. this shows how capable he can be IF he is given his chance. So maybe we should hold onto him!

On the other hand, this good international form along with a few goals in euro 04 could encourage some high priced offers for Baros and maybe we could do with one less striker with the arrival of Cisse.

No definately not. I think Milan was not given a chance under GH. I would like him to get a good run in the team (although he wont when Cisse joins). Watch him go at euro 2004 :;):

no argument here.

we should hold onto him at all costs. he'll be more than adequate cover when owen has his couple of mandatory months out through injury.

Baros could blossom for Liverpool under a new manager, but he will be third choice behind Cisse and Owen, unfortunately.

Keep him. And try to find a way of playing him more often. Mind you if Mikey has his usual seasonal injury it won't be too difficult.:)

Any chance he could be converted into a midfielder ? Didn't we do that with Ray Kennedy when we took him from Arsenal ? :)

i think sinama pongolle will provide the cover for owen.
i think baros is a very good player and next season and he played class when he got his chance this season but i don't think he'll be happy with sitting on the bench for the best part of another season when he's got loads of ability.
i just don't think that keeping baros is not worth the money we could sell him for, we wont get enough use out of him and no matter how well he plays hes not gonna keep his place in the first team. i've nothing against him,he's a good player, i just think its better to let him go.

i think pongolle will do an adequate job coming in for owen. he will improve with experience and develop hopefully into a player thats worth his place in the team...

I think it would be a major mistake ot let Baros go.... wit him in th esquad next year and Michael Owens inevitable 2 months out injured then we need a top class replacement, i.e Baros. e is only 21 or something and ill be awesome in the future. I remember last season when he played he seemed to be one of the only players giving 100% and while is finishing sometimes leaves a bit to be desired this will improve. In my opinion keep him

he would provide good cover for owen but ihe wont be happy with 2 months worth of first team starts

we should keep Baros, hes a great player just needs a chance in the team. His international record speaks for itself. Plus the fact that we dont even no if cisse will be a success yet so we should at least keep him till January

Yeah it would be daft to get rid of Baros he's only going to get better but if Owen and Cisse are 1st choice then maybe he'll think about moving. He'd be a first team regular at most clubs.

Wouldn't mind having a few quid on him being top scorer in Euro 2003 as I reckon the Czech's might do well and like you say his record for them is good.
