Glad to see him gone, I've been excited all day, don't care if he comes back, don't care if he manages again.

I don't see what is two faced about that.

Looking forward to the new guy (as long as he has no Rangers connections)

Have to agree with the Cheesemeister here guys, too many of you have slated Gh in the past yet now you wish him well. ??

I personally do not think Houllier is the right manager to get the job (winning the league) done.
But I respect him as a man and for his past contribution.

True fans here have class and appreciate a man as he is. Unlike you, who should be spending more time in your mancs forum and give constructive contribution there, or is it because you are bored with all the garbage being discussed there ?

I hold my hand up and say that i've slated GH on here for months and i'm over the moon to see that the board have finally made the decision most liverpool fans wanted.

But this doesn't mean that i don't wish him well. In my opinion he had run out of ideas and some of the signings last season have just let him down. But has a Man he has been full of dignity nd what he said in the press conf just proved his love for the club.

the whole point of being a fan is doing this tho
im glad hes gone, wanted him gone but can still wish him luck. We are better than that
unlike the manure fans, 1 day loving becks, then as soon as they sell him saying how hes not all that good anyways.
We respect houllier for the amount hes done for th club but are glad hes gone
now cheese crack or whatever, playtimes over, time for your nap and milk before home?

I'm starting a rumour that Houllier's going to Leeds

There is no hypocrisy involved in wanting GH out but wishing him well.It shows most of us have a bit of human decency. It was never personal with GH,it was just business. He failed,he went.I wish him all the best as manager of Leeds or Rochdale or wherever but its best he goes.

its not really a question of being two faced im sure most liverpool fans liked houllier as a person but admit his time had passed he did his best but a change was needed and at least hes left the club in a better state than kenny did ( walking out and leaving an ageing team behind ) past is past lets all look to the future with huge optimism :)
im happy hes gone but will always remember what he tried to do for our wonderful club :)

the good thing is (i hope) the new manager will walk in.take one look at Doof, Biscan and Vlad Smicer to pack their bags.
