Heskey sold

I bet you all heard the news that Heskey is sold to B'mirgham City. I for one am scratching my head on that deal. Because Heskey was proving himself in the last three games why he shouldn't be sold. One sad fact is that players we sell under this circumstances always come back to haunt us. We needed to be sure we did not need him. He had a frustrating season but I would not have sold him. I would rather loan him on monthly bases like Pennant at Leeds from Arsenal.

No Emile has always been inconsistent!
I dont argue that on his day he is really good.
But the whole point of LFC doing as badly as they have these last 2 seasons is due to not being consistent!
That is why he is being sold!
I wish him all the best but as hard working as Emile is he just hasnt got that focus and confidence that top players have!

Playing a couple of good games at the very end of the season hardly makes up for the couple of rubbish seasons before it. YOu are talking rubbish. Nobody doubts that Heskey can look like a man of the match in about 5 games a season but that counts for nothing when your goal is to WIN the league.

I remember seeing Gerrard shouting his ****** off at Heskey to work harder in a couple of games, made me laugh when Heskey would just look as if Stevie was talking in a forign langauge
