I started this thread cus macca7 never had the balls to allow posts on his ****** poll. How on earth can you question the validity of selling Heskey before Milan? There is no contest you fool.

yeh i agree, Milan over Heskey anyday. Heskey was great in the treble season but it's time for him to move on, and I wish him luck.

Baros is worth ten of Heskey. I don't think there'll be many of us sad to see him go, until the t****** comes back to Anfield next year and scores the winner against us. He'll be the same at Brum as he was here - one good game followed by 10 ****** ones. He'll frustrate them big time.

I hope he doesn't fustrate them that much. We need his appearences to bump up his fee.

The fees will be based on Birmingham's success? Now what's that? Staying up at Premiership or winning the league itself?

HESKEY TO SWAP REDS FOR BLUES
Press Report 17 May 2004
Birmingham manager Steve Bruce expects to seal the signing of Liverpool striker Emile Heskey within the next 48 hours, writes the Daily Mail.
Heskey, who will expect to be named in Sven-Goran Eriksson's Euro 2004 squad today, has been lined up for a £3.5million move to St Andrews after joining Liverpool for £11million from Leicester in March 2000.
It has been reported the fee could rise to £6million depending on appearances and Birmingham's success.

if heskey improves we'll get some money but we lost a good player ...
if he performes the way he did last two seasons we only get £3.5million (= lost £7.5million!!!)
