Never mind that Gerrard will not move to join the scums, but Fergie's audacious £20m valuation of Stevie is downright insulting and befitting a manager in desperation to calm his internal turmoil. One insult deserves another...let's table a £5m bid for Ronaldo.
I know this topic had been discussed before, but seeing press report on this matter makes my blood boil.

Gerrard wont leave us for manure.Why would he take a step down at this stage of his career? Gerrard is worth 40 million anyway.

£5m for Ronaldo, come on that would be flattering the lad he is ****** 
£5k would even be a rip off for him judging on his performances for United this season

If Beckham can leave for £25m and Ferdinand for £28m I'm sure Stevie is worth at least £35m cos he is the best in Europe.

He's just spotted what we have known for a couple of years , that is to say in Stevie G we have the best midfielder in the country and probably top 3 in the world right now.

Vieira is still better than Gerrard.

I disagree, Viera is a fantastic player but I think Gerrard is more influential on the pitch.

Gerrards hero is Zidane. He's been quoted that he cant wait for the first game in the Euros so he can play against him. He never mentioned Viera.

What's the f#### point in comparing Stevie to Zidane and Vieira?!
Like most of you, If i were GH, I would never swap him for any of them.
If Stevie compared himself to both players, it's due to political steps only.
