You have a national team, right ? Includes players from all the top clubs you love to hate! I sit in Norway watching Chelski vs Monaco hoping for the english to win ! Don`t you? Or do you rather see the french win - as they did to LFC ?!   ???

Why not cheer for other clubs?

LOYALTY

In a day and age when fans look for loyalty from players (never happens now) you want to cheer on other teams?

No, not permanently - but don`t you think it`s better for England that focus is on english clubs rather than french, italian, spanish or german clubs ?
I mean - when an english club wins a trophy football`s come home - right ? Is that a problem for your loyalty ?

Or do you have the negative attitude that if we can`t win then noone else should ? Give it to the turks or whatever ?   ???

If Liverpool don't win the European competitions, I'd prefer it if other English clubs did.

My loyalties lie with one club only LFC and if we are not in there chalenging for honours then i could`nt give a toss for any other english club. :p

Yeah....it would be nice if we actually were challenging for honours, then I wouldn't have to watch Chelski, Arsenal and W*nkchester United playing in European competitions WE should be playing in!!!

Even if I'm watching Millwall V Sunderland I like to cheer for somebody (Dennis Wise was in Wimbledon 88 team so I cheer for Sunderland). It makes the game more fun to watch.

I don't really care who wins but I still like to go for a team. I enjoy watching Arsenal so I was hoping they'd go far in CL.

Agreed ! Football is more than supporting 1 club. That`s only the best part - in good times !
I don`t hope football becomes like "the fear of losing is stronger than the joy of winning !"
If my club doesn`t win - to heck with it !! I`m a Wolves supporter for crying out loud or whatever !
