Premier League  Liverpool V Man Utd  Sun 23 Sep  13:30

Ive been looking a far few Utd forums, most of them are being very respectful about the past few days events. Dont get me wrong they still dont like us, Hell i dont like them! However im asking that we show some class.

Ive never been one to join in with the vile chants about people dying. Even when i can hear it being pumped from the other end of the stadium i refuse to bite.

Now i know there will be some utd fans that do it, there are always jack offs that make it a point of starting it. Just like there will be some in our red shirts doing the same.

However im asking people not to join in, no matter what comes back from the other "fans" stay respectful for PEOPLE THAT DIED DUE TO FOOTBALL!

In short show some class.

I can't believe what I read on RedCafe!  :Oo:

96% of it, is total respect. Fair play to them for this, honestly, they've supported and petitioned the cause.

I don't know how Salford's away mob will act when they visited Anfield, I won't hold my breadth but it wouldn't surprise me if they showed some sort of support before the match - especially if any of RedCafe's members are anything to go by.

Fantastic. Agree 100%. One thing we are renowned for is class. Good on the Mancs for showing us respect.

I'm sure some of you lot are Mancs, visiting their forums etc. ???

Lets see how the Mancs behave shall we, when they visit Anfield next weekend.

Any nasty references to the Hillsborough disaster, normally come from that lot.

I was interested to see what they where saying is all.
Just as im sure lots have taken a looky see here.

As i said, lets try are rise above it shall we? Lets be fair here, they chant about Hills we chant about plane crashes? No one has the moral high ground. Every dam year i have to listen to the chants about people losing lives.

I think its time we tried to faze it out its cheap vile and uncalled for IMO.

Also dont forget the eyes of the footballing world will be on us that day lets not get on the back pages for the wrong reasons.

Really?  ???

The game against United is the first home game we have since the truth being exposed.
Some of the United fans are planning to have a banner or mosaic to show their support to the 96.
I think, footballing rivalries and Patrice Evra aside, that is a very classy move from them.

Be nice if both sets of fans could behave and if United did produce a banner
as suggested it would be terrific.

I have had a look at redcafe myself and have to say they have been very
respectful there.

The Evra/Suarez thing is between those players and lets be honestt both of those
lads could cause trouble in an empty house so may as well let them sort
it out between them.

Nobody understands rivalry more than me, but I must confess that as I have
got older it does wear you down a bit all the bitterness and anger, and even
for one game to would be nice to see a truce and a day of respect.

Teenage Liverpool striker Michael Ngoo was booked after revealing a T-shirt tribute to the Hillsborough victims during an Under-21 match at Chelsea on Friday night.

Ngoo, 19, scored the final goal in a 4-1 Liverpool victory at Brentford's Griffin Park, then removed his shirt to reveal a message which read '96 reasons 4 justice'.

Official guidelines state that referees should show a yellow card to players who take off their shirt, but the crowd booed the booking and cheered the player.

The incident came two days after the Hillsborough Independent Panel released a report into the 1989 disaster, in which 96 Liverpool fans died.

It cleared supporters of any blame for the tragedy, and showed evidence of a cover-up by police and ambulance officials.

Steve Hunter, a journalist for Liverpool's official website, showed his support for Ngoo by tweeting: "Really enjoyed the U21s game, the lads did brilliantly and Michael Ngoo, a lovely gesture. He's a great lad is Michael."

Ngoo joined Liverpool from Southend in 2009, and played for England at the Under-20 World Cup in Colombia in 2011.

What a trashy referee!
