4th july 2010 - our independence day - Be there

As discussed at our recent EGM, Spirit Of Shankly is to host an "Independence Day" Rally at on Sunday 4th July at St George's Hall from 12 noon. Using those famous steps were Shankly himself once stood, we have a good line up of speakers and musicians, including Karen Gill, Neil Fitzmaurice, John O' Connell and Sons of Anfield, with Councillors, MP's, Ex-players and others to be confirmed shortly.
We will be officially launching our Supporter Ownership proposal, and our Declaration of Independence from Tom and George.
This event is for every Red - Young and old, Male and Female, from Bootle to Berkshire, Anfield to Aberdeen. It is our chance to come together, and say loud and clear that we don't want them here anymore.
Make sure you are there. Make sure you are heard.
"Tom and George - It's OUR club, not yours!"

Am gona urge everybody i can. Even non reds. Because It,s not just our club at stake.its the whole game. Time we reclaimed our sport back from the money making 
that have brought the beautiful game to this.

What do you reckon ? Shall we organise a newkit meet up for this . Puts some faces to names and have a bit of a laugh while getting our important message across . NOTE i said meet up NOT p!ss up . It's a family event ,so bring the partner and kids and enjoy ourselves while we GET THE YANKS OUT .
