Vandals struck the famous Melwood site early on Tuesday morning in an apparent protest against the Reds’ slumping form.
Flop Harry Kewell and John Arne Riise were singled out for abuse as the Kop side prepared to face the Italian side in their Champions League knockout round first leg at Anfield - and the club moved quickly to cover up the paintwork before players arrived for training.
While they may have a point I don't think today was a good day to try to make it.
