FFS, this is all we need. I was just thinking he could sit out the Derby game, get properly healed by sitting out England's qualifiers, and come back roaring, and he goes and drops a clanger like this.

Sort it out Steve

Unbelievable isn't it? I wish he would stay and get his toe healed, its better than getting those stupid injections because there is a big chance of getting injured and it would be horrible to lose him for alot of time, we need him fit every game.

If he isn't up to it, he won't play, I'm sure. But with Beckham and now fat Frank out of the picture he's going to be under some big pressure. I just hope he won't try to be a superhero. On an England note, I hope we lose so they'll sack McClaren. Worst Manager Ever.

What is the point in that ?
It seems like his country is worth more than his club ?

I'm sure the fact that Frank probably won't play has been a big incentive for him. He's been hamstrung by that fat c*nt for far too long, and maybe he sees the coming games as an opportunity to get off the leash for a change.

Still, it is bad news.

Manhattan doesn't want England to qualify for EURO 2008.

Stevie G can have a nice long holiday.

hmmm well... I'm proud of the fact that his country is in dire situation and therefore he wants to help qualify even if he's not 100% fit... nothwithstanding mclaren's lousiness... maybe this is one of the problems of england's recent lacklustre performances... that players are not too hyped up about playing for their country...

on the other hand it doesn't boast too well for us since we need to get him fully healed... but if rafa agrees to it then i got no complaints at all... surely rafa knows what he is doing and will protect the club's interest...
