Owen available? - Only 9 million
Posted: Thu May 10, 2007 4:22 amI'm not sure if someone has already posted a topic regarding Owen's release clause of 9 million but I will anyways. Apparently the clause states that if Newcastle fail to qualify for Europe, which they have, Owen would be allowed to leave for 9 million. Buying him is questionable in my opinion because of the injuries he has suffered but 9 million for a proven stirker is pretty damn cheap. If he could replicate the form he had when he was with us then it would be a very good deal indeed!
