Fa cup - Strangely cheering chelsea and manure

personally I am glad that they are both progressing and after replays too. I want them to play as many games as possible as we might have to play both if we are win the European Cup.

There is no better teams than Watford and Blackburn to kick the cr*p out of players. Hopefully both semis will be a draw and Manure win the replay (If the FA cup final is a few days before the Euro final and that it is a Manure V LFC final)

It is in LFC's best interest that both those two are wrecked while we've had an undemanding season (no Fa cup run, little league cup run).

i couldnt care less who wins, or participates (however meaningfully) for the thing to be honest.  One things for sure...the authorities will be pi55ing their pants in anticipation of the inevitable "big 2" playing out the showpiece at their brand spanking new (extremely overbudgeted) gaff.

Who seriously suspected Wembley not to be ready in the eventuality of that particular match-up being a reality?  Which, in my book is a stick-on. (Watford anybody??)    I mean, its not as though they need to panic about bums on seats (for the first couple of games there, anyway). The daft, incompetant, uneconomic buffoons. They will gather their thirty pieces of silver on the day and the media will drool and fornicate over the prospect, to such an extent that, we already know for definate..that it will be the 'Mother of all 'F.A Cup finals, dont we...

So for me, this years 'Glitzy, glamour show of a mouthwatering...clash of the titans' esque freakshow' can do what the bleedin' ell it likes.

As for your point- i kind of prefer the idea of facing the full forced enemy head on, with all guns a blazin'... Much more satisfying to see the aftershocks of defeat etched upon their soured faces than facing a bunch of jiggered prima-donnas, then get discredited for an 'easy' victory..  :eyebrow

Getting ahead of ourself, are we?

Who's to say we'll progress past PSV? We've still to win that game, and then think about the next before we even think about playing in a final, let alone what Man U and Chelsea are at.

I personally don't want to see either of those b@stard teams in the final. One less trophy for them keeps that shadow of success of ours looming ever darker over them.

I understand the sentiment but I just can't do it.  I was all prepared to cheer for the Mancs against Bolton on Saturday, seeing as we have more chance of being reeled in by Fat Sam's boys than pushing United for the title.  Soon as the match started, though, I was raging at those Manc t.wats and willing Bolton to get back in the game, FFS.  A leopard can't change its spots! :D

Big Niall has a point if you leave sentiments aside. Best thing it would be they'd reach as far as possible without actually winning the cup.

Doesn't matter what cup it is, mate. As a Red's fan, be disappointed we arn't going for the lot, even if it is so called lesser cups.

There's no such thing as semi final replays anymore. It will just go to extra time.

Best part of that match was watching your idol, the rat-faced munchkin, hobble off with an injury.

BTW, nice tache on the w.ankstain.  What's he aiming for--gay porn star or kiddie fiddler?  ???

You think Blackburn will break some Man U leg? I think maybe Warnock will try to do Liverpool a favor but taking Ronaldo out of the equation. :p

So did the FA thats why they had both Chelsea's and Man utd's ballls heated up before the draw so they couldnt be drawn against each other.
