Could someone please post some guidelines to enable me to produce the perfect topic for the future-all mine have been heavily scrutinised and I would love to join the elite amongst champion topic starters. Cheers!

don't just copy and paste articles from LFC.tv . Don't start a new thread every time you want to say something. Try and structure your posts. Make your point, explain it etc. Use Bigmicks threads as a type of guide on how to post superb topics.

Just read for a bit and see what the rest say....then ignore most of it if you are sane!

Then post your feelings!

Avoid posting one liners they annoy the fu.ck outta most people especially if in a row!
:D

My advice.

Forget the whole idea of seeking a perfect post.

Most newbies in a forum think that they should make new threads as they find that exciting or something. But when time passes and you keep posting for years this excitement is back to normal. Normally people likes that others read what they write, and since newbies are persons and are excited, they find opening a new thread the best way to be read by others.

Advice for the football sections:

IMO it's about not making a new thread unless you're sure it's not being debated precisely that topic. As I've said people like that their post are read, and if you open a new thread and that's being debated somewhere else, or was debated shortly ago, the people won't answer because they already have discussed that. Plus you show them that you didn't read what they wrote, so they won't like you.

As you can see opening a new thread doesn't help always to become more popular. So take your time to read the topics, use the search button, and make sure it's not being debated already. People will appreciate that.

Also if you open a new thread try to put something of your own, and not just copy and paste with no comments at all. Don't open a thread just to say you don't like Kewell.

Advices In General chat:

This is a completely different story. Sometimes a one liner is enough to make a big hit in this section, or just an image. You should ask the masters of this section, Peewee, Andy G, WoollyBack  and those mates. :)

I don’t post topics that are not related to LFC in the LFC General section!
