The fact that the Anfield crowd booed the decision to take him off for Cisse instead of Morrientes speaks volumes of the general feeling about him and that the fact that for me at least, he was man of the match not only for his goals, but his overall play and involvement in setting up that second goal.

I was watching from some 10,000 miles from Anfield over live cable tv but the sound of the boos were loud over the telly - it must have been very loud at the stadium itself.

Fowler should play so much more and the goal has been long time coming after 2 unfairly disallowed but legitimate goals, IMHO.

I always like Fowler. Although he looks slower than before, but he always position himself very well in the play.
