Youngster handed trial - Theyve even flowed his family to live!

Liverpool have invited 11-year-old Mohamed Suleiman to the Academy for a trial after the Reds were alerted to his skills.
Mohamed will fly to England from Kenya on April 11th with father Alas who works for the Kenyan Army.
Alas said: "This is a dream come true. Ever since the boy was five years old, people who spotted him play in the barracks would approach me and say that he was a special talent.
"It is very good that Liverpool FC have noticed him and I believe it is also a good piece of history for Kenya."
Mohamed says he can't wait to attend the 'soccer school course'.
"I like Liverpool and I especially enjoy watching Crouch and Gerrard. I'm really looking forward to joining them," said the youngster.
I read somewhere else that when he was 7 he was so gfood he used to play with the under 11's and now he plays with the under 18's at this age. I know this kids got years to go but its nice that we are buying more continental players to bring up our way. Just shows that Rafa really is looking to the future for this club. If he were planning on going to Madrid at the end of the season i dont think he would have signed this kid for us.

I reckon getting a first option on the kid wouldn't be such a bad idea if he's really that good.Good to see Rafa and the scouts are looking all over the world and not just in europe or south america.

Anyone read Lionel Messi's story?
When he was just in his teens, he had growth hormone problems but was already very skillful. An Argentinian club noticed him and tried to nurture him but not being so well off, they could not afford to keep his medical costs. Enter Barcelona and Carlos Rexach, who snapped him up immediately with the first contract being signed on the back of a napkin in a cafe at a sports complex/tennis stadium. Barca's condition was that the then 13 year old Messi is to move to Spain and they will put him on a special medical plan to overcome his growth problems.
Lo and behold, at 16 he made his Barca debut in an invitational tournament at Porto to officiate their new stadium and his skills came to the attention of one Jose Mourinho. A season later, he made his full senior debut and then scored for Barca. The rest is history.

Interesting piece of news there. Wonder what type of deal will be involved in bringing him to Liverpool, if he does impress. I've heard of Barcelona offering kids' parents housing and well-paying jobs in efforts to get them to re-locate. Wonder if LFC will be doing something similar.
Not being form England, though, I have a question - wasn't there always some rule or going to be some rule about only being able to sign youngsters from the surrounding area? Or was that just a rule applying to English talent? I don't know what exactly I am on about, but if any of you have an idea and want to enlighten me..

The club was Newells, I believe. River Plate had the chance to sign him before Barcelona, but rejected him because of his condition.

Yes Cherno Samba was over hyped a few yers ago. But if you notice there arnt many stories about this kid at Liverpool. There keeping it really hush incase it all ends up as nothing. Nice to see them trying though
