9 days left - To sign 2 players

It's starting to get a bit worrying now....we still need a central defender and a right midfielder and we have only 9 days left before the end of the transfer deadline. Rafa has said that if he can't get who he wants he will wait until January, but I'm hoping he can get the players he wants before the end of this month hopefully.
Does anybody know whether playing in the Inter-Toto cup ties a player from playing for another club in Europe? Andrade played for Deportivo against Newcastle, so if we do manage to sign him, we may not be able to play him in the Champions League...

Good question mate. Never thought about other euro comps.
I'll see what it say's in the rules on the Uefa site, if I can understand them!

I'm not worried. I feel we have found our missing piece in our jigsaw, Christian Bassila. (ps, sorry for posting on a thread about LFC's signings!!)
I also feel Owen won't sign...sorry. Kuyt is a possible option. And Marc Overmars is someone I thought you lot might be interested in.

marc overmars retired last summer because of his persistant knee problem
