Maybe he is- but personally i think he's too selfish on the ball and to make it worse misses the chances that he could have passed!! I'd be interested to hear how he gets on with the rest of the team as he never seems the happiest of people. Sell Milan- buy a RM and bring back Owen!

The question should should be asking isn't what he done wrong, rather you should be asking What HAS he done?

isn't the baros debate totally done to death yet?

If it's between him and Owen, I'd have to take Owen. On his own merrit though, Baros is good. He terrifies defenses, he has an excellent sense of pace and collected nature in the box, but he still has problems. He doesn't look up, he doesn't pass and he wastes opertunities. He is still young and he does have time to improve before he reaches his peak, but the question still has to be; Is he a Liverpool player? In this moment, at this time, can we afford to take chances? This season may see the final split as the Premiership becomes more like the SPL with an elite group, and a scrap for Uefa. We have to be at the top. If Milan stays, he will have to net as much as twice his tally from last term. He will have to become willing to pass the ball to other strikers and not snatch at chances. He will have to become Liverpool. Owen already has these qualities, as do so many others. Is this the time to be taking chances?

Like Andy said this has been done to death, Baros isnt going cos hes sh!t, its cos hes worth 7 million ,we have 5 or 6 strikers, and need the money for players in other positions, its called managing the squad

it's a bad move to sell Baros, especially after the signing of Peter Crouch, that would be a formidable partnership (Crouch/Koller - anyone else notice any resemblances?), IF we do have to get rid of a striker, it should be Morientes...

1. if you want a striker who couldn't hit a cow's ar$£ with a banjo, its drogba.
there have been reports that baros has been a lot less selfish non the ball in pre season.
keep baros.

Shhhhhh, don't tell others that Baros is better than everyone else.

People will choose owen over Baros at Anfield but i will see another Diego Forlan when Baros leaves us. Who's Michael Owen?

If I remember correctly, last season he seemed to infuriate Raffa by not passing. He then got sent off towards the end of the season and had a  petulent smirk on his face as he walked off the field. I thought then his days were numbered. Before the final he (baros) said it would be his last game. I think these are the reasons Raffa wants to get rid of him, not due to his skill level. Having said that I am sure Raffa will not sell him on the cheap.
