It looks like baros will be goin away on loan for the season.
personally, i think this is the best outcome for liverpool.

Is it :censored:? That's a bad outcome, he could be worth less next season, and we won't have the money Rafa needs to bring in a new centre half and right winger.

You got to be kidding me, thats worst case scenario
If he cant be sold then might as well keep him

if baros goes on loan and IMPROVES then we can sell him for a lot more or we can keep him for ourselves. I suppose however we do need the money directly to fund our two transfers.
now i am undecided whether this is a good move or not?? :O

Shalke want an option to buy in 2006 if he preforms, there is no way Rafa would agree to that.I'd rather he went to Villa for a fee

This is a load of sh.ite.

Letting a player with one year on his contract go on a season long loan is basically giving him away.  Considering we're bound to get someone willing to pay around 4-5 mil for him (doubt we'll get the 7mil Rafa wants), there's no way he'll be allowed to go on loan.

i think he'd come back to haunt us if he went to villa. i'd rather he went abroad, but the money is the most important thing if rafa wants to improve the side.

skysports have been saying that schalke believe they will agree a fee soon. loan will undoubtedly not happen unless we have suddenly become as rich as chelsea and started giving players away. is it 12 or 18 months left on baros contract as i keep hearing different?

Baros to go on loan, when his contract has only 16 months left on it

they're having a laugh, there is no way Liverpool will allow that because we won't get the money to replace him.  I'd be VERY surprised if we accepted a loan because what will stop them saying they don't want to buy him.....only to sign him next december on a free?

If we sell him, we get the money and some options to buy new players.

If he goes on loan, we get no player and no money.

F*ck you Schlakeekea 1404 or whatever the f*ck you're called.

You want Baros? Give us the f*cking money!!!

Pro : he gets alot of exposure to a new market
pro: he may perform better with the German style of play

con: gets injured, ends up leaving on a free transfer
