Obviously this Liverpool squad will go down in history as one of the best and heroic. But, time always moves forward and teams must of course make preparations for future seasons. Given if Gerrard stays, and Reina signs (saving time for Carson), who do you see as the top 11 in Liverpool in say three or four years?

This is perhaps how it will be in 3-4 years time. (Mori will be 32 then!!!)
Probably be totally different, though!!!!!!!!!

I love watching the premier League, but only recently have i been interested in following trades etc(i dont hear much news here is Aussie), around what time are they likely to be made and when does the season start up again?

this thread is pointless, liverpools squad in 3 years is harder to predict than last nights final. If we look back at the replies here in 3 years, i gaurantee nobody will even come close to guessing the squad. 3 years ago who would guessed a strongeest 11 wit players like cisse, finnan, morientes, alonso, garcia. Many of us wouldn't have even heard of alonso or garcia before we were linked with them. i for one had never heard of garcia and new very little about alonso and there'll be plenty more unexpected comings and goings for various (unpredictable) reasons in years to come. This is what(i think)i thought at this stage last season our strongest 11 would be for this season:
Kirkland
Carra
Hyypia
Mexes
Riise
W. Phillips
Hamann
Gerrard
Kewell
Owen
Cisse
Not even close and thats just 1 season. 3 years: Your havin a laugh

just use the web for all news mate - Aussie news is rather for football, but ESPN and Fox Sports coverage in terms of live matches is excellent.
liverpoolfc.tv (official website)
contrast.org/hillsborough (Hillsborough Disaster website if you don't already know about it, very distressing but as a liverpool fan you need to understand what happened)
bbc.co.uk/football
soccernet.com
icliverpool.icnetwork.co.uk
4thegame.com
premierleague.com
all sites I would recommend.
Transfers (not trades, thats American bollox) will occur in the Summer break in the UK, which is from now till August, and the transfer window then closes a few weeks after the start of the season, then re-opens again for a few weeks in January. The Premier league season starts again in mid August.
Something is always going on, so keep your eyes on liverpoolfc.tv for all the latest goings on at Anfield. Being a football fan is a full-time job.
