Malbranque is one the best RWs in this league (thats the key, he has already played at this league). He is also under-rated.

Let me put it this way.....if pennant is gonna cost 6 million, if swp is gonna cost 10 million, if joaquin is gonna cost 15 million, i rather take Malbranque for 4 million.....

I have always rated him but he would only be on the periphery of the first 11 and we need to invest in other positions before we add to the 'good squad player' list!

Thats a fair comment , but sometimes when a great bargain is on offer it's sometimes worth buying even though you might not really need it .

Anyhow , as St Mick has pointed out ,the rumour is not true , pity imo .

Good player in a pretty sh*te team! I would reckon he would do a great job at Anfield. If (as I believe will happen) Rafa decides to have various formations this year depending on the opposition I think Malbranque would give us various options. At £4m go get him!
