The rumours of the three South American players ( Firmino , Bacca and Rondon are getting stronger with Clynne deal supposedly close to being sealed

Players going look like - Borini , Lambert , Balotelli , Lucas and Sterling

That could gives us a whole new front line

Illermendi not a serious target due to Can looking like moving into the middle of the park and Kovacic deal fading away

Yeah the usual mixed bag for us this summer it seems, 1 player to get half exited about (Firminio) and the rest just meh.
In his 2 seasons in La Liga Bacca has scored 12 and 13 goals from open play, the rest have been pens. This is a fella smack bang in the middle of his prime don't forget, he turns 29 in September. I'm not sure we should be spending £20m on a 29 year old who only just makes it into double figures from open play.
Ings would probably score us that many if we played him every week.

Bacca's record is a goal every other game throughout his career. 20 league goals in 36 games isn't to be sniffed at.

Rondon's record is also very good.

We are actually looking at guys who get the ball in the net.

Great news.. maybe rival teams might be laughing a bit less at us after this. I'm very happy if this comes off.. great player.

I still think we're set in Frimino's position so it's a bit of a weird signing for me but a good player nonetheless. Maybe we plan to play him as a striker.

I think we are going to do our business and then sell Sterling. If we sell Sterling before getting our signings in, the selling teams will start inflate prices knowing we have a wad of cash from Sterlings sale. Firmino sounds done and think we can probably expect to see another 1 or 2 in before Sterling moves to City

I worry about pace in our team, especially as it looks like Sterling man well be off. Firmino has a brilliant scoring record for Hoffenheim but I'm hoping we bring a pacy player in before Sterling is off

That's a great signing right there.  Looks like we're off and running lads.  He is a striker,  can play anywhere across the front 3. He'd could be our next Suarez only with smaller teeth

I see that Ukrainian fella Konoplyanka is available on a free but apparenty looking for wages in excess of £100k a week.

Think he'd be worth a punt, what do you reckon ?
