On SSN Back pages, Arsenal ready to accept 17m of Barca for Henry. We should at least try an sign him.

I already posted it in the Henry thread, according to Skysports and Marca,Barca are suposedly offering Eto'o AND £17 million for Henry, way out of our league I would think.

Oh i didnt no about the etoo bit. Tbh id rather have Terry Henry than etoo.

Im expecting nothing so if someone who is over 17years old does turn up it il be suprised.

The team of 2025 is goin to be great but as for now....

We give it 'we got to spend big' 'utd spend £20 on a midfield player' and then we sit on our hands while they fork out an extra £50 million.

I agree. Just how much money do we have? Utd have spent near £50 mil on 3 players in the space of a week.

Are we really going to sign some big names that will shock everyone else? Or is just another summer of trying to get players on the cheap.

I am waiting to suprised by a fantastic signing, but after all the posturing following the champs league final I am getting that same old sinking feeling.

Benitez said we need to go two steps forward at a time but right now players are going out but no ones coming back in.

We will buy players, but if we are dissapointed again this summer then its going to be a bitter pill to swallow after all the hype surrounding our new owners.

Nani and anderson are the type of youngsters we should be signing.....

I don't think it is feasible to be signing players such as Nani and Anderson at this moment in time.

They command huge transfer fees and are young and inexperienced, we need players who have proven ability, are experienced and have quality.

They are the type of quality that we need, but you cannot spend 50m euros on those two and then go out and expect to sign another 50m euros worth on players who could go straight into the side.

Just had a little bit a gossip from madrid, a friend of mine whos connected to the club was chatting to Fernando Gaga in madrid guess who was with him Tevez! well the short of it is he got asked about his plans for next season and was he coming to madrid he said there was about 4 serious clubs interested on of them being madrid and one of them us:) He said he likes to be close with the fans and have a good relationship with them while hes playing he also said thats what he loves about Liverpool fans our passion and our relationshops that we have with our players , he told her hes got a lot of respect for Rafa and it would be an honour to link up with stevie g. and the fact that alot of our players speak spanish aswell as the coaching staff would be a big help. They were trying to get him to talk about madrid but he kept mentioning liverpool

so come on rafa get on the phone We need a player like him class, doesnt go missing, looks a fighter on the pitch perfect player for liverpool so lets start competing and put our money on proven players in the prem instead of other players who its going to take ages for them to get used to it we need to be challenging from the start

teves and owen for me. Cheaper than one eto'o. owen 10m and teves 18m. Ok wages, but jerzy is off and he was on a fortune. Same as zenden.

so, lets get teves, owen, malouda, simao, milito and Alves.
