And saying that we should buy a 20-goal-a-season striker from the premiership is a little easier said than done isn't it? How many can you name with that quality that are available? Zero...that's right. I think for us to buy a top striker it will have to come from abroad, but then so did Van Nistlerooy and Henry so to uncover another one of them would be be ok with me. Every transfer is a gamble, no matter how "proven" the player.

Absolutley right mate..

But you mention Van Nistelroy... He is possibly available from Manure - if we could get him it would be good (if we can overcome having an ex Manc in the squad).

He has plenty of goals left in him.

Kezman's record:

99-00 Partizan Belgrade 28 Goals, 38 Games
00-01 PSV Eindhoven        24 Goals, 33 Games
01-02 PSV Eindhoven        15 Goals, 27 Games
02-03 PSV Eindhoven        35 Goals, 33 Games
03-04 PSV Eindhoven        31 Goals, 29 Games

More than a goal per game in his last 2 seasons but still couldn't cut it in the prem

Does that mean you want us to swap Harry Kewell for Jermaine Defoe as a straight swap? I personally would be gutted to see that deal go through. Yes I like Defoe and wouldn't mind seeing him come but I do NOT want to lose Kewell, his performances last season when he came back were excellent, for the first summer ever we have the prospect of a fit Kewell firing on all cylinders come August and that is a very very good thing. If I had to have either Defoe or Kewell it would be harry every single time

Agreed, also I was thinking of buying a Kewell shirt this summer so I don't want to buy one and then see him get sold

Kezman was too lightweight for the EPL where Kuyt is a big strong lad so I'm sure he can hold his own against EPL defenders.

By the same token, Henry was utter sh*t at Juve.

Yes and I know its a loss but I dont mind. Risse, Warnock, Garcia and Gonzalez can play on the LM. Yes i knew that he perform well last season but he have been getting injure most of the time. We need to do something with him before he will be just like Scimer ( long term injure ).

This is what Im hoping next season.

HK exchange with Defoe ( We need new striker and they need LM ).
Mori + 5m = Joaquin. ( We need RM and they need striker)
We buy pennent and upson or pennent and riggort maybe for 5m to 7m for both players.

Defoe for kewell good bit of buisness, defoe will score goals galore for us that is for sure. He thrives on confidence and playing in a much better team no disrespect to spurs he would relish the challenge.

Kuit is also a strong player who will do well in the premiership has a good scoring record over last few seasons and will score in a super liverpool team.

Transfers in
1 defoe swap with Kewell. (Gonzales on left don't need kewell)

2 Kuite in for 10m

3 Alves in for 7m

4 Joaquin in part ex with Morro and 8m going to Betis.

5 Aurellio on a free

6 Palletta in allready done...

7 Cisse to Marseilles for 7m

8 Traore to Everton for 2m

9 Kirkland out for 3m

10 Also the other loan's and dead wood 5m all together.

17m back roughly!!  25m spent going out!!

still room for Augerro as well may be!!

Quality signings come on Rafa!!!!!!!!!!!

Kuyt is your man! It is not just his goals, but he also gives many assists. Last year: 29 goals 13 assists; this year: 22 goals and 18 assists.  :buttrock  That's not all, he's a player that will follow his heart. He has turned down Everton not without reason! In the Netherlands he will not sign with Ajax, for that would be of insult to both Fc Utrecht fans and Feyenoord fans. If he had signed up with Everton, for himself, he would have turned down Liverpool for ever,  but he wanted to keep that option open! He's club player of the year, season after season.  :bowdown  :bowdown  Most of all, he want's to win!  :wwww
