Its the first time Blackpool have had an asset to sell so of course they want top buck, but that inexperience also means they didnt know when to pull the trigger. Sad really for all concerned.

If he helps them stay up it'll have been the right decision.

got to feel for adam, just heard at one point tonight he was sitting in a car waiting to be told if to drive to liverpool (not drive himself) and then was told no deal. he left for home only to be told to stay put as another bid was put in......and then told to go home again.

Really would of put the icing on the cake had we got him, You never know in the summer he might come to us or we might even bring in a DeFour or M'Villa

Charlie Adam has vowed to give his all to the Blackpool cause over the remaining months of the season.

The 25-year-old Scotland midfielder and Blackpool captain had looked set for a switch to Liverpool but the clubs could not agree on a fee.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp later revealed the London club had met Blackpool's asking price just before the transfer window closed, but the paperwork could not be processed in time.

Adam said: "It's been a crazy day.
"I'm still a Blackpool player and I want the Blackpool fans to know I'm totally committed to playing the best I can for the club, and I will do my best to help us achieve the highest possible league finish.

as for smileys, the reason why it doesnt work in your case "red till i die" is because your smiley should have a spacing apart from the word next to it i believe.
