Football players wear them to make people aware, if they didn't not as many people would buy them, the yellow ones are made by Nike but I'm not sure about the blue ones.

thx guys for answering my question. i just think being able to cope up w/ the fashion, yet spreading the core idea behind it is rather meaningful, no matter it's for anti-bullying, for fund-raising etc. n presenting in this way is easier for youngsters nowadays to learn n accept.

it seems like i dun hv the chance to own one afterall, since i stay far away from UK. anyway, thx guys for letting me know more abt this issue. :;):

The whole point in getting people to buy bright yellow and blue bands instead of just making a donation to the charity is to raise awareness for the cause. which is exactly what the likes of stevie g and garcia are doin every game and it obviously works cos hardly any one had even heard of lance armstrong before he sold 26 million yellow livestrong bands!
