And back to the topic...

I admit, it was disappointing though...beating Arsenal...then losing to Pompey.

But hey...not the end of the world!

I'm glad we got Rooney...but who did we need more...?

Alonso or Rooney...?!

We had 3 strikers anyway...oh and Bellion.

Could have really done with Alonso really...but...we got Rooney...certainly can't complain.

Although I'm sure Fergie will sort out the midfield soon...hopefully!

Fergie needs to get a grip this arsenal fiasco is still getting back page headlines everyday its pathetic, He didnt prepare for the pompey game as he is to concerned over gettin bergkamp and henry banned, He should put it behind him this brings so much bad blood between to 2 teams whom both have some really good players, its a shame really but its only going to incitie more conflict everytime yous 2 meet.
But then again its good for us if they still are catfighting with eachother :D
Him and wenger should really put it to bed now its getting a bit tiresum now for all parties concerned.

I think Saha will be leaving, I bet you he ends up at Tottenham.

Alonso was a player that Fergie was interested in.

Everton were under pressure from the banks to sell Rooney, they were actively looking to sell, they had no choice. Man Utd new all this for some time and waited for the right time to make their move.
