Im a toon fan and before i ask this i want to say that this is no way slagging or boasting in any way and i mean that but i just wanted to know that on monday you had deals for Michael Owen and Nobby Solano set up but now Newcastle have taken them both away from you and im wondering has it annoyed you that Benitez didnt do enough or are you happy with your squad the way it is. Im sure you will agree that today was a great day for the toon with Owen coming in and Solano coming back and Jenas going the other way.Are you dissatisfied with the last few days activity or how do you lads feel?? I have a lot of friends in Liverpool and ive been to Anfield 3 times and theres always been good relations between the toon and the liverpudlians so im always interested in your point of you. Any opinions would be most welcome!

Oh and i know you might say that Solano hasnt officially joined back but on the NUFC official site, it says hes on tyneside having a medical and the deal is basically done and that is the one website which never lies!

No, Owen is never worth 17mil and I'm glad we didn't pay that for him.

I'd be angry if he went to one of our rivals, but as he's gone to a mid-table team (at best) I'm not worried.

I'm disspointed we haven't brought in CB or a RM yet, we should have had those wrapped up weeks ago.

Solano would be nice but Liverpool doesn't need Owen.

MoToon

Would like to have seen MO back but not for that price so no it doesnt worry me

Solano on other hand is proven EPL player and could have solved us problems at least in short term so in that regard disappointed to have not seen a deal done for him especially now that deal for Benfica right winger has fallen through

cheers
