I have a bit of a soft spot for Tranmere ever since the time Aldo was there . If Robbie ever steps down from the prem but wants to keep on playing,  why not Tranmere ? .

In fact ,it could make a nice retirement home for our retiring hero's , at least it keeps them local . (well kind of  :D  )

i know the order, but ive just never heard of Tranmere before. I didnt think they were in the Championship, so i thought League 1, but i just wanted to be certain.

their a smallish club based in birkenhead, which is the town which lies on the opposite bank of the river mersey to liverpool. the mersey is probably about a mile wide so they`re close neighbours, its not like a great lake type of thing where the city opposite is in a different timezone!
