Ignore Man UTD and Arsenal. Do we support Liverpool or do we spend all our time and energy harping on about Man UTD?

Am I the only one who thinks that the whole Man UTD hatred thing is born out of jealousy?

Yeah I happen to think you could be the only on mate. The hatred between the to clubs has gone on for years and its not just football its just people on a hole. Mancs are ****** and we are us and it will never change fella. I started this post in the first place and it wasnt about Man utd or Arsenal it was about M Riley the man utd fan.

Jealousy. Well said Jbg. And I say that also is the case why some Man u fans hate Liverpool so much too.
Riley did ok today. If the Rooney one wasnt a penalty the Ronaldo on certainly was when Cole done him ,so things even themselves out. We out muscled them all over the park,well someone had to do it for a change.
What really makes it sweeter-is the reaction from the brat pack on here. :laugh:

I dislike both sides, but I have to give the credit where credit is due. Arsenal were a better team from the start.

Personally I don't hate any club.

I used to hate Man UTD with a passion but I was honest with myself and realised that I was jealous of them winning everything in the 1990s when we struggled. I know some people hated them in the pre Ferguson days but my memory from back then was that most Liverpool supporters laughed at them and the main rivalry was with Everton, who were our main rivals for much of the 1980s.

Its the same with us with fans of other clubs laughing at us when we slip up: its all down to jealousy due to our 20 years of almost total dominance.

I admire other teams who play well but I don't bother hating other sides. I prefer to spend my time on my own club.
