Me and most people on this forum but then we actually have a sense of honour and integrity.

If I was him I would have gone to Rafa and publicly apologised for being a c%&t and screwing with LFC twice and I'd offer to play for £15k a week until I'd proved myself again. That way he would get champions league football and do a lot to repair his previous mistakes.

oh get off your high chair ya liying sh!t!!! :D

he has been gone for years, his career is going nowhere, he'll take any deal he can.
We dont want him, we would have him on a pay as you play, and he wouldnt play enough, hed know this, hes not an idiot.

We moved passed having him YEARS ago...

:D Well ok maybe not down to £15k but I certainly wouldn't want to p1ss off the whole of Liverpool, or at least half of it in this way. It is very scumbaggy.

Mixed emotions as with everyone no here.

I think we have possibly missed a trick here as he could do a job. I don't think I ever worried about the Newcastle move cos I never perceived them as being a viable threat. I would have liked to have seen him back then, but was dismayed by his approach and then relieved when he spent most of his life on his back.

I think that everyone feels the same here, he was an idol that never exuded the same dedication as Carragher, Gerrard or Fowler and it is mostly just plain disappointing to see someone who benefitted from the old school Liverpool way be seemingly so cold about everything. I would give my left nut if I was in his position, but there we go.

I don't think anyone on here will be happy if he starts knocking in some goals for ManU though.

Regardless of whether he is capable of a full season or not, I think he would have been worth a punt, had he shown willing. Clearly he has f**ked Rafa around too many times before and I can't blame Rafa for passing either, I know I would.

The funniest thing for me is the media (especially Sky) now making MO the second coming when he was a busted flush yesterday.

I can understand why is going but Im not going to go as far as wishing him good luck. A good player in his day with our club but I hope he fails miserably with Man United. I dont believe we should have went anywhere near him.

At least he can keep Hargreaves company this year

BTW I dont see what this this to do with us, why is it in Liverpool FC  General Discussion?

It should be moved to Premiership Discussion, its a Man United transfer FFS, i cant see them having a main topic about Johnston on Red Cafe

One thing IS certain.

We will see Michael Owen break down again playing for the Scum.

His body just cannot cope with the pace of the game anymore.

He will score a few goals as the lad does have talent.

But Rafa needs more than a bench-warmer, he needs someone who can remain healthy when on the bench - and he needs someone who wants to play for us.

That striker isn't Owen.

Yeah he's been busted for years now.....his big mistake was leaving us and missing out on istanbul.....he must have nightmares over that. I feel no sympathy for him he thought he was bigger than our club, and disrespected Rafa then p1ssed off to Madrid did fukk all there, jumped at the chance to join the "Loon Army" did fukk all there...and now he touts himself around thinking he's still something great.....well wake up owen i didn't see a Queue of clubs Lining up for your services? let taggart face have him another downward spiral in owens career and what will p1ss him off even more is when he sees stevie G lift the premier league trophy at the end of next season.........will that bring any memories Michael?...(istanbul perhaps?)
