The Premiership - General Discussion

Postby maguskwt » Sun Oct 23, 2011 3:53 pm

Well, City has established a very strong lead at the top of the table now. Do you guys think they will go on to win the league? IMO, one for one they have the strongest squad. Aguero, Silva, Toure, Balotelli, Nasri, Hart etc. Balotelli is really a beast of a player similar to Drogba once he puts his mind into playing football.

I don't know - it's been a bad weekend for us. It's good to see United getting hammered, but we're now 10 points off the top. Arsenal beat Stoke, Everton won away, yet we couldn't even put Norwich to the sword at Anfield. It's difficult to understand after we dominated the mancs the week before??

Yeah, now when I think of it, we would have been second or at least share the second spot have we not lost 4 points in the last 2 games.

TBH These other results should not wipe out our inability to kill of Norwich at home. If anything it was a good opportunity to get closer to 4th gone down the drain.

Shitty against United away: 17 shots, 7 at goal- 6 goals
Us against Norwich at home: 29 shots(WTF?), 15 at goal(WTF?!?)- 1 goal

The difference between the team on the top of the table and the 5th(we are still 5th I hope?).

Chelsea are imploding LOL.  Bosingwa gets sent off for a last defender foul.  A few minutes later, Drogba loses his mind and goes into a tackle two footed.  Sent off.  QPR leading 1-0 at the half.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.
