Other than Lando (et al) nobody really believes he isn't one of the very best around. But that's why it was started, to prove a point, among others, to Lando. Unsurprisingly that entailed the defence of everything about Mourinho - from his record to his character, and that's how it persists for half of those who post in here; an absolute defence of Mourinho. It's ever so slightly strange on a Liverpool forum of all places (I'm not aware of any others that have a personal shrine to Mourinho) but there you go.

I'm flattered that BigMick felt I was so important that he would start a thread for me.

It hasn't worked - Moris is a c*nt - always has been, always will be, and he wouldn't win a thing without masses of money or the best team to begin with.

There's little talent in getting the best to beat the rest. The talent lies in achieving the "unachievable" - not swanning about like some horrific drag queen, poncing around with limitless funds falling out of some pathetic duffle coat and extolling your own virtues like a forgotten Superstar at a School Reunion.

Give me dignity, humility, humour and ability over crass arrogance and the gift of the gab any day.

Perhaps I hate him because he reminds me of me...

Or perhaps I hate him because he's a cocky tw*t who thought it was fun to take the p*ss out of our fans when Gerrard scored their equaliser in the Carling Cup final.

And because he's never shut up about Luis Garcia's goal in 2005.

And because he's always talking about us and Rafa.

Oh, and not forgetting because he's a greasy, slimy c*nt who believes he's some kind of God.

RED BEERGOGGLES wrote:Nice to see him making friends and exercising a little humility from the very start ....... the following quote is taken from Spanish newspaper Marca

1225 BST: Jose Mourinho has made it clear that he will be the one making decisions about the Real Madrid first team and not president Florentino Perez should he leave Inter Milan and take over from Manuel Pellegrini as coach of the Spanish side. "The president is not the one who wins, he's not the one who plays and nor does he decide who is in the team and who is on the bench," said Mourinho in Spanish newspaper Marca. (Reuters)

well the thing is, he was asked a hypothetical question, hence the word "should".

furthermore, considering how Vicente Del Bosque is the only manager, since 1989, to manage more then 100 games at RM, its only fair the Jose takes his stand before negotiations take place as Perez, with his merry-go-round of managerial casualties is making the club look like a joke. this makes Rafa look smart for rejecting RM on several occasions on the simple basis that he would not last.

it has nothing to do with humility or lack of it, its about taking a stand and not allowing boardroom politics to get in the way of happenings on the pitch.

Inter had done nothing in the European cup/Champions league in about 40 years, he wins it within 2 with very little net spending.

 LET IT GO JOSE LET IT GO.

Jose Mourinho, the iconic soccer coach, thinks it's high time the sport used instant replay for goal controversies.

"I'm one of the people that can cry a little," the new boss of Real Madrid said in a conference call Monday, in advance of his team's game at Candlestick Park. "I lost a Champions League game because of a goal that shouldn't have counted. Please, (let's use) technology."

In the second leg of the Champions League semifinal in 2005, Mourinho's Chelsea club lost 1-0 on a goal by Liverpool's Luis Garcia that Mourinho insisted didn't cross the goal line. Reports at the time, however, said TV replays were inconclusive
