of course we all want the league but the thing with this idiot is, he wouldn't win it for liverpool fans, he'd win it for himself.

can't believe anyone would want that tw@t near our club.

.. fellow posters seem to have forgotten the slurs against our manager, capatian and club in those early heady days, when Abramhovic was in his pocket -

Oh and why did Abramhovic get rid of him,and Inter have been considering getting rid of him.. ? cos he does nothing for the populairty of their clubs - people hate himn and his teams, and CFC's strategy to dominate the 'world' could not be achieved with a man who pisses more ppl off ..

I accept that Rafa may be going - so lets go for Hiddink, selling-out twice to the devil -surely we are not that desperate?

:wwww

I agree.. Mourinho has been sht for Inter.. they should definitely get rid of him ASAP...
As for Chelsea.. getting rid of him was the best move Abrahamovic did... Their plan of 'world' domination really kicked off after he left...

I wanted Barce to win last night because they play the better football - end of story .

My opinion of Maureen will never change mick no matter what he does .

In his 2 years he hasnt bought many players... And the ones he bought went on to make a big impact .. the only fck up in terms of transfers he made was Quaresma..

Looking at his transfers record.. its quite impressive really..

In:
Sulley Ali Muntari (€16m, Portsmouth)
Ricardo Quaresma (€18.6m initially + Pele, Porto)
Diego Millito
AND Thiago Motta (combined 17mill)
Samuel Etoo (P.E)
Sneijder (€15m, Real madrid)
Pandev (free)

McDonald Mariga (cash + half ownership rights of Jonathan Biabiany + loan of Luis Antonio Jimenez, Parma)

Out:
Óscar David Suazo (undisclosed)
Ibrahimovic (out a number)
Crespo
Dacourt
Vieira
Robert Acquafresca (undisclosed, Genoa)
Francesco Bolzoni (undisclosed, Genoa)
Leonardo Bonucci (undisclosed, Genoa)

this was a quote from mourinho's post game conference that i found mildly admirable. :D

“I am 47 so I have 23 years to coach. If Lord helps me and gives me health, I’ll coach for 23 more years. and I’ll lose, I’ll win, I’ll cry, I’ll jump. I have so many years in front of me.”

Mourinho's ego is just too big. Even for the city of Liverpool.

The circus that he would inevitably generate around him is reason enough to want to avoid.  In many ways - he would be perfect for Liverpool should he tone all that down a bit...however i dont believe he can.

I think he could mate. He would respect the traditions of Liverpool. He wants to be at a club with history but he also wants a club with fans who love him. Only at Liverpool do the fans have such a close relationship with the manager. I think he would be perfect for us imo. He is outspoken but he is just a passionate person by nature.

I'm not saying yeah lets get him in now but if Rafa left us he should be the first person the clubs approaches and they should do everything they can to get him in. But of course that is all dependent on what happens with the ownership situation too otherwise he wouldn't even touch us with a bargepole.. and probably not many other world class managers to be fair.

Yanks out.

"he's a repulsive human being"

"he's an absolute twát of a man"

"he's bad for football"

"he's an arrogant bell end"

"he's a sorry excuse for a manager"

because the man is a maverick, because he has an ego which he is not ashamed to reveal, because he is a showman, because he enjoys and is good at gamesmanship. because of that he is all the above things.

what a bunch of perfect individuals we have on the forum.

Secondly I hope they win it because I think it's funny. It's funny when Mourinho gets up to his tricks and it winds everyone up on here, and it's funny watching those that were palpably wrong about him wriggle and writhe as they desperately try and avoid admitting as much . It would be funny to see how those who said "he only wins anything when he's got sh!tloads of money to spend" manage to talk their way out of this one (I know he did it at Porto as well but don't let that worry you, they don't either). It'll be funny when they claim Inter were lucky (completely unlike us in Istanbul obviously), and it'll be funny when they claim that they're boring and defensive (once again nothing like us of course).

I'll want Inter to win it, no mistake.

Acually BM - most people on here don't deny he's talent, it's the man who is so obnoxious  :talktothehand

Hiddink - for me !

I think he's a fantastic coach. The man is arrogant - so what ? He does exactly what he says he is going to do. He wins !
That's what we need here - a winner !

We got bigger problems first before we can even think of that mate like the owners and selling the club.

Listen no poster,"Well as far as I am aware " has demeaned his achievements or his obvious capabilities ,but I just find his off the field antics amusing
much like in the same manner I found Steve McLarens English/Dutch voice ,Mourinho has all the same comedic value as say Lee Evans but with a tan and they both utilise the same ridiculous posturing to profound effect    ,but in no way am I disputing his splendid man management ,or his success rate ..... Funny that :D

What more could you want than a successful manager that makes you laugh as well, much better than a bad manager that makes you cry anyway. :D
