Yeh, but then again Rafa stayed more than Mourinho in a premiership club, it would be interesting to see the same game to win ratio, so this stat doesn't prove anything s@int mate.

How about this one then mate :-

Rafa Benitez in his career has been manager for 630 games, won 322, win percentage 51%

Ged Houllier in his career has been manager for 629 games, won 322, win percentage 51%

Ah, but to be fair, Houllier spent two years at Lyon after they'd established their stranglehold on French football.  A warm baguette could have been manager during that stint and they'd have still won two titles.

I am not quite sure what you mean Bob, but I think what you're trying to say is that a warm baguette is as good as Rafa?

:D

Still doesn't prove anything, you need to have the same team to compare

rafa is an ok league manager and a good european manager.

because rafa is spanish its instilled in him that the european cup comes above league, its how spain works.

rafa to me is very stubborn, wont drop a player when he isnt playing well(kuyt), poor formations, poor tactics, poor substitutions, poor players, some are very second rate....lucas, voronin, dossena, babel, ngog, riera.

he has also given us our worst run for 50 years!!!!, say what you like about GH's team or even souness's they didnt manage that.

he has an excuse for every occasion, alonso left because of him.

rafa won the european cup with Gh's team and as delighted as i am on winning that, its what he is living off, if he hadnt won that he would already be out of a job, he has won nothing for 4 years and in the last 10 games we have picked up less points than hull, says it all really.

its time for rafa to go, cos right now he is no better than GH.

on paper this squad is well better than GH's but on the field they are not.

There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Kenny Dalglish 1/2/2011

Juventus beat Inter as well, cutting Inter's lead to 4 points. Apparently Mourinho was sent off for applauding the ref sarcastically after Juve's first goal. They absolutely hate Mourinho over there in fairness, I read an interview with him where he was saying that 16 out of the 18 managers in Serie A are Italian, and the other one who's name escapes me is practically Italian anyway. They really do detest Mourinho over there

I've still got a feeling they'll win the league though :;):
