I agree there are big hypocrites here, it's sad that the ability that some posters have to find flaws in Rafa's personality is only rivaled by the ease of the same people to defend Mourinho. They can find arrogance and losing the plot in Rafa reading a paper, but they can defend a manager in the situation of landing a punch, regardless confirmed or not. They do not ask the same prudence to check the truth of an article when the article slags Benitez.

Hypocrisy of the highest order, yes.

There's only one thing worse than hipocrites, that's hipocrites' pets, those who have no autonomy and are beside the hipocrites to agree whatever they say.

I never considered you an hypocrite, Max  :)

so if you've never considered me a hypocrite, im a hypocrite's pet then?  :D

ive nothing against Rafa, but his decisions are baffling at times and you can only sit back and ask yourself ''wtf was he thinking?''

i just want consistency. but Rafa is as inconsistent as your spelling of hypocrite in this post i quoted.

Mourinho under fire again in Italy -  Monday, 23 March 2009

Mourinho suggested Italian club presidents pick the teams in Serie A

Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho has again been criticised by his fellow Serie A coaches after saying that club presidents often picked the teams in Italy.

The outspoken Portuguese, whose team are closing in on a fourth straight Serie A title, has had a number of run-ins with coaches and soccer authorities this season after being appointed at Inter in June.

"It surprises me how he has this knowledge. It doesn't seem very elegant or educated," Napoli coach Roberto Donadoni told Sky on Monday.

"He probably wanted to fire off one of his usual phrases. I don't see the motivation or the necessity."

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has sat with Donadoni on the bench since appointing the former Italy coach to succeed Edy Reja earlier this month.

"Mourinho's comments were pathetic," Cagliari coach Massimiliano Allegri added. "There was a lack of respect."

The former Chelsea coach has bemoaned the media grilling he receives in Serie A and some vague comments about his future have sparked speculation his stay in Italy will be short.

I have to say, I like Mourinho. He winds everyone up, keep himself and his club constantly in the spotlight etc.. and he has balls like watermelons. He´s a lad.

he's a c0ck with absolutely no respect for anyone. he takes the limelight away from his team who are the ones wining the league and onto him? Same as he did at Chelsea... he's pathetic.

Anyone read that article Collymore done recently? He's basically saying Mourinho is still the man for Liverpool. He even at one point said "Rafa is not capable of attractive the same quality players as Mourinho can". Erm yeah i'm sure the open chequebook from the chairman helped a bit aside from Mourinhos charming personality.

He brings the same 'Beckham factor' with him, he attracts attention, raises a clubs profile which attracts better sponsership potential and the higher profile players. His antics are no worse than Cloughie, Whiskynose or Shanks, he keeps the club in the headlines. I dont see a downside.

Ibrahimovic, unlike Gerrard, is planning to move from Inter.

Perhaps he sees he cannot win the CL with Mourinho? Maybe he simply can't stand Mou?

The difference between say Maureen and others who have been outspoken is the others at least showed respect towards their counterparts - where as Maureen demands that he is know as the greatest or best . Arrogant tos ser with no respect for anyone else .
