no, its much more straightforward than that. some people believe he is a better manager than rafael benitez and that's that. the problem is that some people find it impossible to avoid having an apoplectic fit at the very idea, and can't understand how its possible to believe this to be the case while still giving benitez credit for some of his CL achievements with us. some people also get all hot under the collar about him disrespecting us while forgetting the time that he also stood in the centre circle of anfield and applauded us.

Andy im talking about right at the early stages of the thread when Rafa was still out manager and people were giving him a lot of stick yet coming in here to praise at the feet of someone who has never had any association to our club whatsoever - what other manager in world football who has never had an association to our club has his own thread and people praising him .

Really???

There plenty of players at Chelsea, ManU and other clubs who better then our players but we dont have 60 pages devoted to how great they are at this a Liverpool forum

i know, laza, its true. but the manager position is always up for more analysis and argument than players, so maybe that has something to do with it. there's also there's the fact that mourinho generates so much more news and opinion than your average player. and in all fairness i reckon that a good 50% of these 60 pages are people saying how much they hate him too.
