I rate Roy Keane, a no nonensense midfielder in the mould of Graeme Souness. Gerrard rates him, he would learn from him, and he would also be a wonderful replacement for Didi Hamaan(sp?)

roy keane is one of the greatest midfielders of the modern game, but there is no way he'd come to us or that we'd want him. his career is just about over.

roy keane is finished at the top level now,it has been evident in the last 18 months, with the injuries he has sustained,he can no longer motor up and down the pitch, liverpool do not need him and are strong enough with gerrard, hamann, sisokko and alonso asthe cm options

I too rate Keane and although he is getting on, when he is fit he can still be a match winner.  If we had Abromovich's money I think I'd buy him anyway just to :censored: off some teams who could really have used him. Can you imagine our center midfield options with Keane on the bench?

He`d be fantastic at Anfield in some sort of playing/coaching role.Imagine him ripping the sh.it out of Kewell after he gave the ball away once again.I reckon though he`ll find himself a decent Spanish or Italian club.I wouldnt be surprised if Madrid or Barcelona gave him an eighteen month contract.

all that shouting on the pitch is him just trying to look hard.
the best captains quietly have a word at a corner or break in play, if a player has made a mistake the last thing he needs is someone belittling him infront of a big crowd. all that bawling is for keane`s ego only.
graeme souness never put a team mate down like that in front of a crowd.
whatever profession your in if someone keeps losing their rag they`ll just be ignored eventually, i think at united all the other players did exactly that, and then keane like a big kid just retalliated by slating his team mates on man u tv.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if Keane doesn't see out his Celtic contract.

These "dream" moves at the end of top players' careers often don't work out.
