Everton lost to Thailand under 23. Though its a friendly match however Thailand outperformed Everton, CL qualifier. Imagine what a catastrophy.

David Moyes, and the whole team was embarassed.

Hobbes,

I am not so sure its a catastrophe. Thailand has played well against Arsenal, Man U and Liverpool in the past if memory serves. Lost by not much, but remained competitive.

The title of your thread says they got Thrashed? What does that mean? What was the score? was it a full strength everton side? I should probably know these answers, but i really dun give a sh!t bout neverton, but it would be nice if you included this sort of information in your post, especially when you start a new thread with it.

Yeah i read under 23. but 1-1 lost on penalties is a trashing? Wow we must have spanked AC Milan all over the park in that CL final then.

i watched the game, the thais were quite good and were obviously fitter but i wouldnt exactly call it a thrashing. trust me when i say its not easy runing around a field for 90 minutes in that heat and humidity, in fact its not easy walking for 5 minutes. but the locals i have played against in malaysia have the stamina can can only be borne out of living in them conditions.

when liverpool went to thailand a few years ago they were mobbed and the ground was sold out. last night the thai under 23s, bitters, man city and bolton all played at the same ground and it wasnt even quarter full.

obviously not a big draw even though they are sponsored by a thai beer   :D
