Come on has anyone ever seen such a ****** game?
A own goal wins it, it was like Everton were playing for a point, there was some 3rd division stuff being played out there.
The opposition were ****** as well, no wonder theyve only scored 6 times away from home all season, they didnt look like getting a goal

Yeah, Everton kind of ruined my night last night.  I know some people on here say you make your own luck, but they are just unbelievable!!!  The amount of games they have won 1 - 0.  Very effective the way they play I suppose, but you have to wonder how long they can keep this up.

For a team to be up there where they are, they are very unremarkable. :(

They are unremarkable and probably also uncatchable.

Seven points from thirteen games isn't uncatchable by any means.  They will lose another two games and draw a few.  We have to able to capitalise on that.

In past years, it appeared every time our rivals dropped points so we could gain ground, we would also alarmingly drop points EVERY SINGLE TIME.  It was a big problem with the Evans and Houllier regimes.  We now have a manager who is trying above all else to instill a winning mentality in the team, which means that when sooner or later Everton do slip up, we will not let the chance go this time.

I recall one year we were 2nd in the table on the final day of the season (I think 1996-97 season)  We were beaten by Sheffield Wednesday and ended up finishing fourth behind the Scum, Newcastle and Arsenal.  We should learn our lessons and never let things like that happen again.  I don't think Rafa will let it happen again.

We will catch Everton.  As simple as that.

I have never seen a worse team in the Top Four at this stage of the season, they must be one of the most boring teams in the Premier League

How would you feel if you were crouch (it was him yeah?) trying to get some glory on the break and shooting - ony for the rebound to have a goal in the dieing minute.

I guess he'll learn now to waste time - still feel sorry for him though
