Taggart complaining about the officials, and the decisions they made  apparently Ashley Cole and his air rifle was enough to ensure the absence of Clattenburg .....

As for Rooney, what can you say about the whole McCarthy incident at Wigan over the weekend. The FA haven't got a vertebrae between them, spineless B*s*t*ards !

I haven't seen any of the decisions so I can't offer my opinion of them. Five Live said Rooney dived for one trying to get Luiz sent off, is that true?

The Mancs are saying it wasn't a pen either

Some Manc phone the radio and said - the ref saw Rooney's elbow, gave a free kick, end of - he then said Luiz should have been sent off so the guy said 'but the ref saw it and gave the free kick'. He was not a happy bunny :D

Whilst we wont win the Premiership this season we WILL have a big say on where it ends up with United at home this weekend and Arsenal away in April. I know who I would like to see win it..................

Surely it won't be long before the Chelsea fans stop singing that song that we made up...?

First off, Luiz was lucky not to see red against Rooney only because he already had a yellow, but Rooney made such a big deal of it and he was barely touched.  I guarantee you he could have stayed on his feet if he didn't flop.

Secondly, Rooney could have easily seen 3 yellows today.  The dive in box in the first that was so blatantly obvious.  that body check he did on Ramires when he was angry the ref didn't call a different flop, and for a foul he committed on Luiz.

Third, the pen was a pen, clear as they come.  Zhirkov actually played it very smart.  He used Smalling's inexperience against him and tapped the ball past him then let him trip him up when he ran by.

Rooney's elbow against Wigan should have seen him punished but the FA have vag!nas and wouldn't want to up set little mrs. fergie.

Vidic was rightfully sent off and could have been sent off a minute before when he fouled Drogba, no exageration here, five times in a row and then two-handed shoved him in the back to the ground.  I was shocked he didn't get a card there, but luckily his anger got him sent off when he took down Ramires.

Maybe Vidic didn't want to play against Suarez.  He probably knew he'd get sent off.

the fact that they are up in arms about the penalty I find hilarious. Clear as day that Smallings leg catches Zhirkov but apparently "Smalling didnt have time to get out of the way" Since when does that make a foul not a foul exactly? What was Berbatovs excuse at Old Trafford when he went down for a peno against us in the cup without being touched?

Seriously I can't believe they're complaining.. it's like they are so used to getting pens for nothing that when one goes against them it's a bad call...

Fecking :censored:

Absolute disgrace that. Surely the FA realise how toothless and pathetic it makes them look? They're an embarressment. And Clattenberg apparently said he was happy with his decision.

Seriously, how corrupt is modern day football?

I'll tell ya what, my bloods been ferkin boiling listening to Slur Exlax spouting on about injustices. You horrible 2 faced, red nosed, bacon face tw@t. You have 99% of refs on side and just because you can't buy this one your :censored: off.
I hope your bollox turn square and start to fester at the corners.

No he pulled him back but Rooney completely over-exaggerated it and that's why he ended up getting nothing. Luiz should have been off. He got away with a late block on Hernandez aswell. The penalty was soft but I can see why the ref gave it. All in all the ref had a mare but Atkinson is useless anyway.

The hypocrisy is laughable though:

Phelan after the Wigan game on the Rooney elbow:

"We can't dispute a referee's decision. He is out there on the field to take charge of the situation."
