Chelsea's fa cup loss - Good or bad result for us

The Premiership - General Discussion

Postby laza » Mon Feb 21, 2005 11:35 am

Whats the general concenus about Chelski being beaten in the FA cup.
Good result as it smashes a hole in their armour or bad as it will only spur them on in the League Cup Final
Personally im glad to see them go down and its about time they had a bad week culminating in their loss next Sunday

Both i guess we'll just have to see how they bounce back against Barcelona mid-week

I dont think Mourinho will be to bothered about the Carling Cup, he will be more worried about the prem and the CL, and his injured players, arrogant B.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

you never know how they are going to react..

Arsenal weakened after they where beaten by the mancs..  as they realised they could be beaten, but the great LFC teams on the past whenever we got beat, the team we played next used to get battered..  This is a great test to see how good Chelsea really are
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

I just hope we get to see some of the same mis-management next Sunday... I don't think I've ever seen substitutions backfire the way they did for the "special one" yesterday... Bridge gets injured and comes off, Duff and Gallas pull up and have to continue, then Carlo gets sent off. More of the same please...  :D

that was a nasty loss for chelsea. they expected to win not just the game but the cup aswell -  but they lost and sustained some nasty injuries. they're going to the nou camp feeliing a bit bruised and hurt pyschologically and physically and i think they're goingt o get beat. so by sunday they'll be a sorry lot and we'll be celebrating rafa's first trophy.

just read that chelsea have appealed against cudicini's red card. ???

for what? :D

it was one of the most blatant red cards i've seen this season.
