I would take him back for a small fee in a heartbeat....

I'd take him back if he was cheap but it isn't going to happen. Torres went and Suarez arrived. Just a bit of a shame about Andy.

This is from the WHU owner

Finally, I am often asked about Andy Carroll’s deal.

It is a season-long loan. Liverpool had an option to take him back in January, but he has been injured.

West Ham have an agreement with Liverpool to sign him at the end of the season, but we have no agreement with the player.

It was his desire to come to West Ham to prove himself to Liverpool and that hasn’t changed. He has had injuries since he came, but he is back to fitness now and we have 15 games left… we need some goals and some points, so let’s see.

His return will give us a lift. We need one of our strikers to hit goal form. We’re in the middle of a poor run in a tough division and we play a very good Swansea team on Saturday.

West Ham wont sign him unless he has a barn storming end to the season which is
highly unlikely.

He will end up back at Newcastle and we will just have to take that on the chin and
scurry by with our heads held low for a bit.

Wasn't it £15-17 mil if they avoided relegation?

I would like to think they are commited to purchase after the loan but I suspect its
first refusal with a price agreed already. West Ham wouldnt be that daft surely.

Even if they want him, which I doubt, then he must agree personal terms and that would
be a drop in wages for Carroll as hes not worth what we are paying him.

Both parties hoped he would do enough to instigate this deal however he has been injured
and shyte since he went there, an all too familiar pattern for Carroll these days.

Why do you doubt they want him when they chased him all summer and then the chairmen comes out and says a deal with us has already been sorted

Oh and he hasn't been ***** for them - just scored the winner for them. With him they were playing well - without him they only won one league game in 2 and a half months until he is now back.

Fee has been agreed by the clubs (no indication of how much yet) but what hasn't been agreed is the personal terms between the player and west ham.

If Carroll rejected them there would be no deal.
