I feel a bit guilty about taking him from Newcastle. Its like adopting and african child from a deprived country. Sure on paper adopting the child seems to make sense but that place is their home and where they truely belong. Ok, its nothing like adopting an african child but I do feel bad.
He's imo just putting on a brave face and trying not to :censored: the LFC fans off but I bet in his head he's devasted he can't play for the club he's supported his whole life. You say he'l win trophies etc at LFC but some things are more important than that. We got rid of torres because he didn't wana play for us and now we've replaced him for som1 who didn't wana leave their club. OG right there. I hope he's alright in the head and can learn to love liverpool and I'm sure the fans will take him under their wing.

Him and saurez would be a good partnership but I feel we're weak defensively. We've failed to replace Mascherano and agger and skrtle are good but we need better. If we play 4-4-2 I can't see who's gona sit deep and watch the back line. Meireles can't tackle ad has no stregnth and lucas.....well he's just not up to the defensive role. I feel we need a really good CB and ashley young to break the top 3/4

not sure Newcastle will appreciate this analogy :D
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

I'm kinda concerned on his comments on not wanting to leave Newcastle and that he was asked to do so. His heart might not be in LFC which might affect his performance. And he might be turning his head soon to re-join Newcastle or somewhere else. The Torres incident has kinda left me traumatized and make me have distrust in players nowadays...

You know what people can knock players like Dirk Kuyt all they want but at the end of the day I'd rather have a team of 11 Dirk Kuyts than 11 Fernando Torres'.

I had the same feeling, but I think as he gets to know the club and see how it works, he will be more and more excited to play for us.  I have a feeling by the time his debut comes around, all the fans singing his name, he will feel a rush and know that he's in a great place.

I like the second song as well.  :)

As long as he gives 100% then I don't care what he says. He's just covering his own back and the club doing the same.
