He has scored goals for fun over the last three seasons for Ajax - got 76 goals in 96 games . Was made club captain this year and really flourished . He has done very well lately . Has scored 45 goals this season in only 46 games .

Next season, it all depends what kind of new owner/s we have, who will be managing for us either it be before the season starts or not. The paper's expect us to have a sugar daddy or near abouts and are linking up possible names such as; Tevez, Silva, Diarra, Van der Vaart, Drenthe.

But at this current stage; We don't know what kind of quality we will sign, if it's an average owner, expect us to sign Cahil, Ireland, and one from the above.

Was just watching the phone in on LFC.TV and they made a good point that we need to be in the market now, making moves now to bring players in. We can't hang about, but we are hampered by the sale of he club which obviously hasn't gone through yet. My only hope is something is going on behind the scenes and the new owner can sign off on the transfer budget now. Otherwise we risk going into next season under strength, not to mention some of our best players are waiting to see what happens.

Im sure this will be the first thing Rafa discusses with the owners/chairman when he meets them next.
