Bill Shankly: “I was the best manager in Britain because I was never devious or cheated anyone. I’d break my wife’s legs if I played against her, but I’d never cheat her.”
The New forest and Bournemouth (or further afield, Weymouth). Seaside, countryside, pleasant weather, good ('real' ) pubs, it's great for cycling/walking/hang gliding/fishing etc. and you can take day trips to the isle of wight. We used to camp most of the time but I really enjoyed it as a kid.
Also, Hamburg is nice around this time of the year
