I know what you mean mate......
But I think theres a method to his madness..... Takes the spotlight and hence pressure off of his own players.... leaving them able to concentrate fully on the task.
He is also smart enough to actually talk up the Barcelona team and players. If you read the articles, (sensationalist headlines apart) he actually praises their team and players' ability.... effectively offering a sop to wounded pride which in turn has the potential to dampen the ardour of their players in terms of a response in the return fixture.
His condemnation of their players in terms of their behaviour to the officials was also a carefully thought out strategy..... This will put the officials on high alert to any Barcelona protests on the day to prevent him being "right" so to speak should they allow themselves to be swayed too much... They'll want to prove him wrong... especially after the way Barcelona was handed a free pass in last seasons corresponding fixture against Chelsea. Either way, he wins.
He's no idiot is Mourinho. Still a grade "A" cunt though.... but no taking away his ability and brains though.
